In Singapore, vaping is illegal, and safeguarding students against vaping is a shared responsibility among schools, families, and the community. Students are encouraged to make informed and responsible choices that support a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

  • Long-term effects on health are still unknown but potentially severe

Impact on Learning and Behaviour

  • Nicotine addiction can affect concentration, memory, and mood
  • Vaping may lead to poor decision-making and unhealthy habits
  • It can interfere with students’ ability to learn and perform well in school

Social and Peer Pressure

  • Students may feel pressured to try vaping due to friends or online influence
